Known as the Ploughman Poet, Robert Burns is famous for his many poems and songs that have endured throughout the centuries. His works have inspired many modern political figures and classic authors, and his legacy continues here in Oklahoma with Scottish Club of Tulsa's 63rd Annual Burns Supper. 

A traditional evening of whisky, haggis and speeches honoring the bard, joins forces with modern Scottish culture as we welcome guests from Scotland and local talent to create a unique evening of literature, music and dance.

Special Guest

We are honored to have a special guest from Scotland perform The Immortal Memory of Robert Burns, and we will also enjoy his musical performances throughout the evening. 

Jamie McGeechan is from Ayr, Scotland. He is an Ambassador for the Robert Burns Federation and made history by being the first person to record music at Burns birthplace, Alloway Cottage. Jamie travels the globe, bringing his love of Scottish Culture and talent to a variety of audiences.


We are looking forward to performances by Tulsa's original pipe band, City of Tulsa Pipes and Drums!
