Scottish Club of Tulsa, along with our friends at Irish American Club of Tulsa, Ancient Order of Hibernians and Grand Lake Renaissance Festival are raising funds to bring renowned storyteller and author Ted Hall to Oklahoma from Ireland.
Born in Australia and raised in England, Ted has spent extensive time living in the Highlands of Scotland listening and learning the ways of aural, traditional storytelling. He now lives in Ireland where his passion for ancient myths and legends continues to educate, entertain and amuse locals and tourists alike.
Ted's books on Irish myths and legends and the stories of the Highlands will be available during his Oklahoma tour in March and April of 2019. He will perform at The Irish Festival for IACT's St Patrick's Day Celebrations, Grand Lake Renaissance Festival, and will also be involved in educational programs for local schools and homeschool organizations.
The celtic organizations in Oklahoma are raising $1500 for Ted's tour. Our goal is for the people of Oklahoma to benefit from experiencing authentic celtic culture and history, and enjoy the works of such an entertaining professional.
