The Scottish Club of Tulsa is proud to announce the inaugural Battle on 66 Highland Games and Scottish Festival. The festival is being held on August 8, 2026. Hosted at the Creek County Fairgrounds in Kellyville, OK, the highlight of the day will be Scottish Highland Games, with athletes from around the area and neighboring states competing in all nine of the traditional Highland Game events. While some of the events will take place outside, part of them will take place inside the covered arena, offering a cooler environment for spectators and athletes alike.
The Scottish Clan Village and Vendors will be housed in the community building. Here, representatives from several Scottish clans will host booths to answer questions, talk about Scottish history, and can help with tracing your Scottish roots. This area will also feature a curated selection of vendors from the area, including a premiere kilt vendor.
Concessions will be available in an air-conditioned building and will be Scottish-themed. At the conclusion of the day’s Highland Games, there will be a special “10th event” test of strength that anyone in attendance is welcome to enter.
At 5:00 that evening is the Scottish Club of Tulsa’s Annual Picnic Supper. Member prices for the picnic are $5 each with a limited number of guest tickets available. Athletes are welcome to join us for this picnic. After dinner, we will be treated to a concert by Ravens Three, a Celtic & Folk band based out of the Oklahoma City area. The evening will wrap up at 8:00pm with the Scottish Club of Tulsa’s Celtic circle tradition, promoting culture and unity, while singing Robert Burns’ Auld Lang Syne.
Lots of activities will be indoors. Some will be outside. Lawnchairs welcome. Concessions will be available. Looking forward to seeing all of our Scottish Family & Friends. We can’t wait!
